These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your enrolment, participation, and use of any first aid training courses (“Course” or “Training”) provided by Prosper first aid training (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
By enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Course delivery

1.1 Blended Learning Format

Our courses are delivered using a blended learning model, combining:
Online theory modules, which must be completed prior to the practical session; and
Face-to-face practical training and assessment, held at our venue or your chosen site.

1.2 Accredited Training

Courses are delivered by qualified and accredited trainers under the support of a RTO #40990 in compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

1.3 Course Requirements

Participants must:
Have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access for online learning.
Complete all online theory modules prior to attending the practical session.
Present a valid photo ID at the practical session.
Be physically capable of performing CPR and other required skills on the floor.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in being unable to complete the course and no refund will be provided.

2. Enrolment and Payment

2.1 Enrolment Confirmation

Your place in a course is confirmed only after:
You complete your enrolment form emailed to you by our team, and
Full payment has been received (unless otherwise arranged for group bookings).

2.2 Group or Corporate Bookings

Group training sessions for workplaces, schools, or community organisations may require:
A minimum number of participants (usually 5)
A deposit to secure the booking.
Payment in full prior to the scheduled training date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Pricing

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

3.1 Participant Cancellations

If you are unable to attend:
More than 48 hours’ notice: you may reschedule to another session or request a refund (less any admin fee).
Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-show: the full course fee and venue booking fees will be forfeited.

3.2 Group or Corporate Bookings

For on-site or private group training:
More than 5 business days’ notice: you may reschedule or cancel without penalty.
Less than 5 business days’ notice: a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total booking cost may apply.

3.3 Provider Cancellations

We reserve the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a course due to insufficient enrolments, trainer illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
If this occurs, participants will be offered a reschedule or full refund.

3.4 Refund Method

Refunds (where approved) will be processed using the original payment method within 10 business days.

4. Assessment and Certification

4.1 Competency Requirements

To be issued a Statement of Attainment, you must:
Complete all online theory and in-person practical assessments successfully.
Demonstrate competency in all required first aid skills.
If you are not yet competent, your trainer will discuss re-assessment options.

4.2 Certificate Issuance

Certificates are issued electronically via email within 24–48 hours of course completion and competency verification.

5. Student Conduct and Safety

5.1 Code of Conduct

All participants must:
Treat trainers and peers with respect and courtesy.
Follow safety instructions during practical activities.
Not engage in disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

5.2 Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove a participant from a course if they:
Pose a safety risk to themselves or others;
Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
Fail to follow reasonable trainer instructions; or
Engage in harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.

In such cases, no refund will be provided.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Collection of Personal Information

We collect personal information (such as name, contact details, and USI) solely for:
Course enrolment and certification purposes;
Compliance with RTO and government reporting requirements;
Communication regarding your training.

6.2 Data Security

Your personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or by our partnering RTO.

6.3 Marketing Communications

By enrolling, you consent to receive occasional updates or offers from us. You can opt out at any time.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

7.1 Limitation of Liability

While we take every care to ensure a safe learning environment, participation in first aid training involves practical activities. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with such training.
We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where required by law.

7.2 Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, course content and schedules are subject to change without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, and content remain the intellectual property of Prosper first aid training or our partnering RTO.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
