-Oxygen therapy and resuscitation
-Bag-valve-mask ventilation
-Airway adjuncts (OPA/NPA)
-Use of suction devices and pulse oximetry
-Monitoring and handover to emergency services
Performance Criteria:
-Deliver oxygen to breathing and non-breathing casualties
-Use advanced equipment in line with safety guidelines
-Perform resuscitation techniques including BVM and suctioning
-Complete patient documentation and handover
Prerequisites:
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
